Cooking it the Wrong Way

I had a glimpse of a video where a French guy wrapped his chicken with ham, fry it then oven it.

It was filled with 2 types of cheese but I was too lazy to go on a real cheese hunt , it is like looking for light fittings to match the other light fittings and switches. You never reach a perfect conclusion!

So what I decided was to do it a truncated way....

Chicken is serrated to house dried Longan's

Garlic and the knobhead of King oyster mushroom were added too. You can add salt and pepper too. In my case I didn't want  the chicken to have a salty taste so that I can get contrast.

The entire chicken breast was wrapped in ham. The ham already fell apart at the start. The ham needs to be fresh from the butcher. Mine was in the chiller.

butter is melted in the pan and once it sizzle it is time to add the chicken

The chicken was padded with flour before putting it into sizzling pan. The flour give a bit of a bread taste to it.

after introducing the chicken the pan will sizzle again,  it is then to throw in the shallots. shallots are sweet and makes the butter have sweetness. like butter scotch without the scotch.

The king oyster mushrooms also had the powder make over before going into the pan.

Xiao Bai Chai was boiled concurrently and tomatoes were chopped.

flip the chicken on all side so the cooking is more even. you mightv loose moisture while cooking add more oil milk butter to you recreation. be brave

I like to put a lid over the pan on low fire so I don't get oil splash everywhere. I clean the kitchen too. (Yes, I wear a David Sylvian T shirt)

So there ! Movie logic ending. You are not sure how it got there but that is what is shown in pictures.
the whole ham fell out mid way. That means no ham towel around waist excitement.

The longans were spectacular and the mushrooms were comforting, a dash of sea salt over the Xiaobaichai and tomatoes made it very edible.

So ladies and gentlemen this is how you over self medicate during this recession.
